The developer announced on July 17, 2026, that Jennifer English will no longer voice the main character, Gwendolyn, due to personal health reasons. English informed Eclipse Glow Games of her decision in early June, leading to the studio finding a new voice for Gwendolyn, recommended by English and other cast members.
Fans will hear the new actor in Tides of Annihilation’s playable demo at Gamescom 2026 in August. The game, set in a modern-day London facing magical chaos inspired by Arthurian legends, features intense combat and an immersive narrative. Eclipse Glow Games, based in Chengdu, China, has released trailers teasing the game's content ahead of its demo.
