As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, IGN Entertainment has launched a new audience survey designed to uncover what makes its global community distinct from the wider entertainment market.

IGN Entertainment, as part of its 30th-anniversary festivities, has introduced a fresh audience survey to reveal the unique aspects of its global community compared to the broader entertainment landscape. This survey follows the completion of the “Generations in Play Audience Insights Study,” a collaborative effort with UC Berkeley and Kantar that involved polling 6,250 entertainment consumers in North America, Australia, and the UK.

The survey specifically targets Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z audiences who grew up alongside IGN, delving into how contemporary consumers find, interact with, and trust entertainment content spanning gaming, movies, TV shows, and digital media. In a bid to further understand its audience, IGN is now encouraging its own users to engage in a dedicated follow-up survey that will directly juxtapose IGN users with the broader market sample.
