Playing Halo: Campaign Evolved with friends on different platforms is made easy by simply knowing their Gamertag or Username and adding them to your Xbox friends list. You can then invite them to your party through the 'Cross-Platform Friends' list in the 'Play Co-op' menu. Access to the early gameplay requires preordering the $70 Premium Edition, or upgrading from the $50 Standard Edition for an additional $20. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also upgrade to the Premium Edition for $20, gaining exclusive in-game content.
Preordering the game entitles players to the Foundry Armory Pack, offering legendary armor looks for Master Chief. Opting for the Premium Edition grants additional perks like a digital artbook, short story, game manual, and extra armor and weapon skins. Halo: Campaign Evolved is set to release on July 28 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with day-one availability on Xbox Game Pass.
