Team Cherry has announced physical editions for Hollow Knight: Silksong, available for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox, with preorders currently open. Priced at $45 for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and $40 for PS5 and Xbox, the physical edition includes reversible cover art, a 32-page game manual, and a mini folded poster featuring a full map of Pharloom. The release date is set for October 16, 2026.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition includes the base game and the Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade pack, ensuring compatibility with both consoles. However, the Sea of Sorrow DLC is not included in the box but will be offered as a separate free download. Additionally, a new expansion, Sea of Sorrow, is teased for 2026, promising new content and adventures for players.
