A teaser video has confirmed the inclusion of a Bolt Pistol from the Warhammer 40,000 armory, a weapon used by various factions in the grimdark far future setting. Fans had long speculated about this crossover, drawing parallels between Helldivers 2 and Warhammer 40,000 in terms of themes and enemies.

Arrowhead, the developer, had previously hinted at discussions regarding a Warhammer 40,000 collaboration. The upcoming Warbond may feature additional iconic Warhammer 40,000 weapons like the Chainsword and Lasgun, along with armor sets inspired by the Astra Militarum. The reveal date for more details is set for July 30.
