The latest trailer for Halloween: The Game spotlights the single-player mode, allowing players to embody Michael Myers as he spreads terror in Haddonfield. The game's narrative delves into Myers' escape from the Smith's Grove Sanitarium and the ensuing mayhem. Unlike the movie's protagonists, players are encouraged to embrace evil and recreate the horrors of Halloween Night in 1978 firsthand.

The story unfolds across six chapters, revealing how Myers obtained his iconic mask and knife. The game also offers a multiplayer mode, pitting one Myers against four survivors. Developer Illfonic has opened digital preorders for the game, with the standard edition priced at $40 and the deluxe edition at $60. The deluxe version includes the Phantom Michael Myers skin and early access from September 4, ahead of the general release on September 8. Halloween: The Game is set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
