However, Microsoft clarified that this data was not from Rockstar or Take-Two and did not provide a complete overview of the preorder situation.

With GTA 6 set for release in November, the game has garnered significant preorder interest. Given the higher number of PlayStation consoles in the market and the marketing partnership between Rockstar and PlayStation for GTA 6, it's understandable that PS5 preorders are outpacing Xbox.
