God of War Laufey to Feature Resurrected Gods from Previous Games
Throughout the original God of War trilogy and its spin-offs, Kratos left a lot of dead gods in his wake. Some of those late deities may come back to haunt Kratos's wife, Faye, in the upcoming title, God of War Laufey.

While Kratos is still among the living, Ariel Lawrence, the director of God of War Laufey, hinted that one of his first foes could return. Lawrence mentioned that they have been contemplating the fates of the gods slain by Kratos over the years, including Ares, Zeus, and Athena. The game will introduce Mongolian and Egyptian gods of war, Begtse and Sekhmet, as antagonists in a new magical realm called the Everywhen.
Players can expect Faye to be accompanied by Rue, a sentient ribbon companion, and Pharanque, a talking gelatinous cube, as she navigates this mystical world. God of War Laufey is set to launch on PlayStation 5, although an official release date has not been announced yet.
