Game Pass Offers Free Games This Weekend, Including One with a Teddy

The Free Play Days promotion is back this weekend, offering MLB The Show 26, The Alters, and Stuffed for free to Game Pass members.

The latest Free Play Days promotion on Xbox features three games available for free to Game Pass members. MLB The Show 26, the newest installment in the baseball series, is included in the lineup. Players can also enjoy The Alters, a survival game, and Stuffed, an FPS where you embody a teddy bear battling the nightmares of a young girl. These games are free to play until July 12 for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, or Essential subscribers.

If players wish to purchase the games after the free weekend, MLB The Show 26 is priced at $35, The Alters at $17.50 (discounted), and Stuffed at its regular price of $12.50. Additionally, Gears of War: Reloaded was recently added to the Game Pass Premium tier on July 9, while the arcade-style shooter Tamashika joined Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on the same day.

Xbox has been facing challenges recently, with 1,600 layoffs, divestment from five studios, and game cancellations. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma emphasized the necessity of these changes, citing Xbox's current financial struggles. Sharma has also been appointed to a Federal Reserve task force focusing on productivity and job creation.
