Game of Thrones: War for Westeros Release Date Delayed to Early 2027

PlaySide Studios has pushed back the release window for Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, a real-time strategy game set in the universe of the HBO series adaptation.

Originally scheduled for 2026, PlaySide has rescheduled the game's release to early 2027. The studio cited the need for additional time to ensure the game meets their quality standards. Updates from an official blog post also highlighted specific in-game locations like King's Landing and teased Robb Stark's campaign during the Battle of the Five Armies.

Several other major titles, including Danganronpa 2x2, Lords of the Fallen 2, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, have also been delayed to early 2027 due to a crowded holiday release schedule and the impending launch of GTA 6 in November 2026.
