In response to an exploit discovered by Forza Horizon 6 players, Playground Games will roll back balances for those who amassed excessive credits. Accounts will be restored to a maximum of 10 million credits due to an error on the developer's side. The exploit involved a glitch with a GMC Hummer EV in The Eliminator mode, allowing players to quickly earn 999,999,999 credits.
Playground Games has disabled matchmaking for The Eliminator mode temporarily while working on a fix. The latest update includes fixes for road discovery, levelling up in Horizon Play, and adjustments to XP requirements. Players reaching level 32 will now jump directly to level 100 and unlock the 'Maxed Out' Achievement.
The developer also addressed the issue of drag tyres providing unrealistic advantages outside of drag racing events. Existing tunes with drag tyres will have reduced cornering performance, affecting Leaderboard entries that used drag tyres. The full update notes are available on the Forza Support page.
