Fortnite Community Day Offers Free Cosmetics and Gameplay Changes

Fortnite is holding a 'community day' on May 30, offering free cosmetics and gameplay changes, including new loot and a special Power Hour in Battle Royale.

Fortnite's upcoming community day on May 30 will provide players with various free items and gameplay alterations. Those who log in during the event will receive the Reflector weapon wrap and the Community Brella. Additionally, battle pass owners will unlock a bonus style for The Foundation (Reforged). Winning a Battle Royale match on that day will grant players The Lemmie Axe pickaxe, the Space Blaster weapon wrap, and the Loons back bling. Twitch drops from Fortnite content creators will also be available, offering items from the Metal Menace item shop bundle.

The community day will introduce new gameplay elements such as golden fireworks guns, finger guns, and supercharged pizza to the Battle Royale mode. A special Power Hour from 12:30 PM PT to 1:30 PM PT will equip all players with a self-res, a Cube Rifle, and an Infinity Blade at the start of each match. Moreover, this event will feature an in-game teaser for the Season 2 finale event, providing hints about Chapter 7 Season 3 set to begin on June 6.
