The World’s Game Update, set to release on May 28, introduces a new 48-team international tournament mode starting June 4, allowing players to lead a nation. Although EA Sports doesn't hold the official FIFA World Cup license, the update includes 53 fully licensed national teams, with 41 participating in the real World Cup. Notable additions are Brazil, England, France, Cabo Verde, and Uzbekistan, alongside new stadiums like Gillette Stadium and BMO Field, as well as Central Maw.
The update showcases exclusive images of Mexico, Morocco, Portugal, Holland, and the United States national teams. It also features two non-licensed teams with authentic players (Egypt, Japan) and five generic squads. Festival of Football themed campaigns and a dedicated Event Hub are part of the Ultimate Team updates, offering rewards like a 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pelé and new ICONS Rivellino and Mario Kempes.
The update also includes Evo Undo, Festival of Football PlayStyles Lab, Evo Repeats, and Tokens, enhancing the gameplay experience and introducing new ways to earn rewards in FUT.
