First Details and Trailer Revealed for BEYOND BORDERS Vol.1: EMERGE

IGN can exclusively reveal the first details and trailer for BEYOND BORDERS Vol.1: EMERGE MODE MIKU, a new collaboration EP that will pair virtual singer superstar Hatsune Miku with such artists as Grimes, slayr, MOLIY, Odetari, George Clanton, Frost Children, and XAMIYA.

The artist lineup and official EP trailer were unveiled during Anime Expo in Los Angeles, introducing the 'Beyond Borders' project from Dwango aiming to bring Vocaloid music to a new global audience. Nebula17, through their US Label, is collaborating with Dwango on this project, featuring Hatsune Miku as the lead vocalist across various genres like electronic, alternative, hyperpop, rap, and experimental music.

Grammy-winning and platinum-selling collaborators are involved in the EP's production, including producers like Grant Boutin, VADAKIN, MOMBRU, Byrd, Xansei, and songwriters such as Charles Anderson and Cecile Believe. Additionally, renowned Vocaloid producers jon-Yakitori, SatapanP, and picco are part of the team. While the release date is set for fall 2026, several singles will be released over the summer as teasers.
