Empulse, a new competitive shooter developed by 1047 Games, draws heavy inspiration from the Titanfall games while also incorporating elements reminiscent of Splitgate and Halo. The gameplay footage reveals similarities in movement, grappling abilities, and the presence of mechs, offering a fresh experience for fans of Respawn's masterpiece. Unlike Titanfall 2, players in Empulse will combat mechs using a large hammer instead of specialized anti-mech weaponry. The game will launch in early access on June 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at a price of $20, featuring a traditional monetization model without a cash shop. A demo will be accessible through Steam Next Fest starting June 15.
