Duck Chooses CD Projekt Red's Office for Nesting Season

It's nesting season for ducks in Poland, and one mallard mom chose CD Projekt Red's office in Warsaw to lay its eggs, the studio recently shared.

CD Projekt Red revealed that a mother duck laid eight eggs at the studio's open-air area. Staff ensured she had a peaceful environment to care for them until they hatched in June. The duck family was later relocated to a park with more natural surroundings by Warsaw's Municipal Guard Eco Patrol.

The office's rooftop greenery and Poland's largest green wall likely attracted the duck. CD Projekt Red's Warsaw office, known for its modern design, was recognized with a residents' award despite not winning a recent architecture prize. The studio is currently working on several projects, including The Witcher 4, Cyberpunk 2, a Witcher 1 remake, and a multiplayer Witcher game.
