Capcom and Nintendo have revealed Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for Nintendo Switch 2, set to launch later this year with additional content and gameplay tweaks.
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, announced during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, is scheduled to release on October 9 for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game introduces new character customization options, 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges, and a new region called Norgan for players to explore. Additionally, a new system allows players to discover and appraise spoils to access a range of weapons, armors, and skills.
Two major updates are planned for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, with the first releasing on June 9 to implement quality-of-life improvements and enhanced fast travel. Another update in late August will focus on improving frame rates, adding more save slots, and making various adjustments. The game will be available for $50, or as a $30 DLC for owners of the original version on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
