The reopening of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Walt Disney World took place on May 3 following a 1.5-year closure for renovations. However, the reopening hit a snag when cast members had to use a fire extinguisher on the ride due to an issue, leading to the evacuation of guests and a temporary closure. A park visitor shared a photo on social media depicting a cast member using a fire extinguisher on the ride's tracks, which were covered in a white substance. It remains unclear whether there was an actual fire. The incident occurred around 5:45 PM, but the ride was able to resume operations later. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and Disney has not provided any official statements regarding the incident.
