Despite Blizzard's denial, fans believed Diablo 4 would have one, following the pattern of Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. The base game and its first expansion provided clues to the level's location, but hunters hit dead ends. However, the Lord of Hatred expansion changed the game. Players on the Not Finding A Cow Level Discord server discovered a new use for items like the stamina potion and rusty bardiche by combining them with the Horadric Cube and a new item called Neyrelle's hand. This resulted in the creation of the cow skull Trophy of the Faithful, leading to a torn journal page.
