Diablo 4 Season 14’s Controversial Mythic Change Removed

Diablo 4 Season 14's most controversial change, only being able to equip one crafted-Mythic item at a time, is now a thing of the past.
Blizzard has removed the restriction on equipping only one crafted-Mythic item in a surprise patch on July 16 for PC and soon for console players. Additionally, they have increased the drop rates of Mythic and Iconic Mythic items from the seasonal Lair Boss. The Mythic Upgrade feature of the Horadric Cube will also see changes in the next season, as it currently transforms Unique items into entirely different Mythic Uniques, causing confusion among players.
Despite the frustration expressed by the Diablo community towards these changes, Dan Tanguay, the design director for live service on Diablo 4, explained that seasons are meant for experimenting with new ideas. The recent patch update follows an earlier increase in drop rates for Pandemonium Fragments, allowing players to craft more Mythics and now equip multiple crafted items. However, Blizzard has clarified that Season 14's adjustments to Mythics, introducing Iconic Mythics, are here to stay as part of the game's long-term development.
