Diablo 4's latest expansion, Lord of Hatred, introduced Horadric and Flawless Horadric Gems, which are more powerful but can only be crafted. Season 13 required players to grind in Seer's Reach for hours to acquire gems for conversion. However, Season 14 has made the gem grind more manageable by increasing gem fragments drop rates in Torment X and simplifying gem-conversion recipes at the Jeweler.
These changes aim to reduce the monotony of the endgame grind, although Blizzard has made other areas of the game more challenging. Mythic items now have more random affixes, lengthening the process of obtaining perfect items. Despite some adjustments post-launch, the community's reception to these changes, known as "Mythic Uniques 3.0," remains to be seen.
