Deborah Ann Woll Unfazed by Online Hate Towards God of War Laufey

God of War Laufey star Deborah Ann Woll says she's 'totally unbothered' by the online hate surrounding her new PS5 exclusive because she knows 'it's great.'

Developer Santa Monica Studio faced criticism for its parallel story project during a State of Play presentation last month. While some are excited for the new God of War game, others have expressed disappointment, particularly towards elements like a new cube sidekick, the combat, and Woll's portrayal of protagonist Faye. Woll, unfazed by the negativity, believes in the game's quality despite the backlash.

God of War Laufey, set to launch for PS5 in 2027, features Faye as the main character with a unique combat style. The game's concept has been in development for years, with director Cory Barlog sharing early ideas a decade ago. Although Kratos will make an appearance, the focus remains on Faye. Santa Monica Studio plans to continue the series with more entries in the future.
