Initially, when Dead by Daylight was emerging, Jason was already being developed for his own game, Friday the 13th: The Game by Illfonic and Gun Media. However, with Dead by Daylight evolving into a hub of licensed killers, the addition of Jason has been highly anticipated by fans.
