Dead by Daylight turns 10 years old today, and for its anniversary, the team at Behaviour Interactive has announced a ton of things coming to the game, both in the short and long term.

Behaviour Interactive announced a plethora of updates for Dead by Daylight during its 10th-anniversary stream. The game will introduce new killers like Jason Voorhees, Art the Clown, and Frank Stone, along with a new survivor named Shane Wiigwaas. Players can also expect a new map set in a mall, various collaborations, cosmetics, and game modes.

Furthermore, the Dead by Daylight movie is in the works, and the game will receive modding tools for the community to create custom content. The team is focused on expanding the gameplay experience with new modes like a potential zombie mode and a 1v1 experience, emphasizing the importance of asymmetry in the game's design.

While some updates will arrive before the end of the year, features like the zombie mode are expected to be implemented in the coming years, showcasing the developers' commitment to evolving the Dead by Daylight universe.
