Each year, Day of the Devs hosts a showcase around Summer Game Fest to highlight some of the wildly creative indie games in development around the world.
The organizers of Day of the Devs revealed that over 1,700 submissions were received for this year's Summer Game Fest showcase, with 20 titles selected for the event. Games featured included Blood Dungeon, Tenebris Somnia, Mr. Records, 33 Immortals, Dreadmoor, Threads of Time, N Plus Infinity Times Two, Into the Unwell, Bub, Lazy River, Prove You’re Human, and Ithaca.
Blood Dungeon by Messhof offers a humorous take on dungeon-crawling platformers, while Tenebris Somnia by Saibot Studios combines pixel art with live-action scenes. Mr. Records is a music-driven game with a unique gameplay split, and 33 Immortals is set for a 1.0 launch on June 10. Dreadmoor, a fishing game with supernatural elements, Threads of Time, a turn-based RPG, and N Plus Infinity Times Two, a competitive multiplayer platformer, were also showcased.
Into the Unwell, a co-op action roguelike, Bub, a personal journey game, Lazy River, a quirky co-op zombie-fighting game, Prove You’re Human, a sci-fi game featuring Mesa the AI, and Ithaca, a narrative-focused RPG, were among the other titles featured at the event.
