Crimson Desert's latest update, version 1.06.00, is now available on all platforms. The update includes the extraction feature, allowing players to recover materials used in refinement. Special materials like Artifacts and Aeserion's scale are recovered at 100% of the amount used, while common materials like iron ore and copper ore are recovered at around 70%. This enhancement aims to speed up the endgame equipment upgrading process.
Players can now tame various animals to serve as mounts, including bears, wolves, and lions. Additionally, a new Display Sheath option lets players choose whether their character's sheath is visible. The update also introduces the Sigil of Valor item, enabling pet dogs to attack enemies. Moreover, a new claw machine at the Laughing Marionette offers unique rewards such as lighting items, special headgear, and Abyss Artifacts.
The update also brings a Night Tone Mode that adjusts the game's colors, making shaded areas appear brighter or darker. This frequent update schedule follows the developer's strategy with Black Desert, where weekly updates have been the norm for over a year.
