Anyone keeping up with the many updates Pearl Abyss has been pumping out for Crimson Desert will know that the developer has leaned heavily into the pet aspect of the game.

Pearl Abyss has been consistently enhancing the pet mechanics in Crimson Desert through various updates, expanding the pet system and introducing new features like registering up to 100 pets. While players can only summon 50 pets at camp, the update solidifies the game's pet simulation aspect.

The latest patch not only allows for more pet registrations but also empowers secondary playable characters, Damiane and Oongka, with new equipment. Additionally, a system where shopkeepers sell lost rare equipment at a premium has been introduced, alongside other significant improvements.

The update coincides with the milestone achievement of 6 million copies sold and a generous performance bonus for Pearl Abyss staff, showcasing the game's success since launch.
