Control Resonant PC Specifications Revealed for Upcoming Release

Ahead of its release in September, Remedy Entertainment has revealed the recommended PC specifications for Control Resonant, and they aren't as demanding as you might think.

Remedy Entertainment has disclosed the PC requirements for Control Resonant, set to launch in September. Surprisingly, the recommended specs are not overly demanding. Following the latest trailer debut during Sony's State of Play event, the studio shared that the game will need GPUs and CPUs from earlier generations, with an RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT recommended. These cards, released in 2020 and 2021, respectively, have limited memory compared to modern standards.

For the minimum requirements, players will need Windows 10/11 (64-bit), an Intel core i5-8500 or AMD equivalent processor, 16GB RAM, GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card, and 100GB SSD storage. The recommended setup includes Windows 10/11 (64-bit), an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or equivalent Intel processor, 16GB RAM, GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU, and 100GB SSD storage.

While the specifications cater to older systems, there's no clarity on the expected performance yet. Remedy Entertainment plans to provide more details closer to the launch date, possibly outlining the hardware needed for higher resolutions and advanced settings like ray tracing, a feature known from the original Control. Control Resonant is scheduled to release on September 24, amidst a lineup of other major games such as Marvel's Wolverine, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Silent Hill: Townfall, and more.
