Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Features Campaign Early Access

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will feature 'campaign early access,' allowing people who preorder or pre-buy the game to start playing the story mode early.

Players who preorder or pre-purchase the MW4 standard digital edition or the Vault edition can enjoy campaign early access across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Steam. The early access period starts on October 16, a week ahead of the official release date of October 23. During this early access week, only the campaign mode will be accessible, with multiplayer unlocking on October 23. Modern Warfare 4 is set to release in October. The campaign early access feature for Modern Warfare 4 had already been leaked, making today's official announcement somewhat expected. This move follows the trend set by previous titles in the franchise, with Modern Warfare 2 in 2022 and Modern Warfare 3 in 2023 also offering campaign early access. However, Black Ops 6 in 2024 and Black Ops 7 in 2025 did not include this feature.
