Gabe Newell, the billionaire behind Valve, has acquired a 20,000 square-foot mansion in Florida for $70.8 million. The luxurious property boasts seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and a unique feature - an underground tunnel leading to the beach. Originally listed for $85 million in 2025, the mansion was sold to Newell for $70,851,054 on June 15, approximately 16% below the initial asking price.
The exclusive Manalapan community now counts Newell among its residents, with the property located near President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort. Previously owned by Cindy and Ron McMackin, who purchased it for around $39 million in 2020, the mansion has seen a significant increase in value. Notably, other prominent figures such as Larry Ellison, David MacNeil, Sean Hannity, and Tony Robbins also reside in the same area.
