Todd Howard, the head of Bethesda Game Studios, recently shared updates on various Bethesda projects. He confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 is progressing well and is the studio's main focus, while Fallout 5 is in pre-production with no release dates yet. Additionally, full remakes of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are in the works. Obsidian Entertainment is also working on a new Fallout spin-off, with more details to be revealed later. Starfield development is ongoing, with plans for a Starborn DLC. Howard also addressed the recent Xbox layoffs, stating that the studio is focused on delivering quality content for its franchises despite the challenges.
A major DLC named Raven Rock is set to launch for Fallout 76, acting as a prequel to Fallout 3. Bethesda Game Studios will collaborate closely with ZeniMax Online Studios on The Elder Scrolls franchise, with ZOS supporting future Elder Scrolls projects and continuing to develop content for The Elder Scrolls Online. Looking ahead, Bethesda Game Studios is optimistic about the future, investing in technologies, enhancing collaboration within the teams, and preparing for the next generation of RPGs.
