Ubisoft and Unsolved Hunts have organized a real treasure hunt tied to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, offering a $500,000 prize. The hunt, named Gold & Crystal - The Lost Treasure of Edward Kenway, promises an immersive pirate experience. The treasure includes a chest with a replica crystal skull from the game and gold coins featuring the game's logo. Players will need to solve 15 puzzles related to Resynced, with the hunt expected to last between two and five years. Despite the puzzles' connections to the game, they are designed to be solvable even without prior knowledge of Resynced. A preview puzzle is currently available on the Assassin's Creed site, with 10 players having the chance to win digital access to the full hunt starting on November 9.
