Ubisoft has reassured fans that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will retain the iconic drunk loading screen featuring Edward Kenway. Recent confusion arose after Ubisoft showcased a video labeled as a 'drunk loading screen' for the remake, causing speculation among the community. The original 2013 game allowed Edward to navigate the Animus load screen in a drunken state, a feature that will be preserved in the upcoming remake.
Following the mixed reactions from fans, Ubisoft swiftly clarified that the remake will include the beloved drunk Edward Kenway sequence. Lead producer Justin Ng humorously reassured players with a message saying, 'Keep Rum and Carry On.' Scheduled for release on July 9, 2026, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S, offering additional features like a no-HUD option and blood effects during combat.
