Arc Raiders has hit 16 million sales, an incredible result for the extraction shooter that has proven so successful for developer Embark and publisher Nexon.

In its latest financial results, Nexon praised the extraordinary sales of Arc Raiders, hailing it as the most successful new product in the company's history. Despite ongoing discussions about the game's player numbers, it continues to be one of the most played games on Steam, boasting peak concurrent player numbers of up to 100,000 on PC.

Embark recently announced that Arc Raiders will receive two major content updates annually, with the upcoming Frozen Trail update scheduled for October. This update will introduce new locations, enemies, story expansions, and gameplay system enhancements, aiming to significantly impact the player experience.

Nexon is optimistic about the October update, anticipating that it will reshape the game and attract both returning and new players. The company also revealed ongoing updates for another live service shooter, The Finals, and confirmed the early development stages of two new games.
