Amazon and Warner Bros. have announced Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles, a new Batman game exclusive to Amazon Prime set to launch on July 31 alongside Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2.
Amazon and Warner Bros. revealed the upcoming release of Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles, a cooperative crime-solving party game for up to four players. Scheduled to launch on July 31, the game will be available to Amazon Prime members at no extra cost. Players will delve into the dark streets of Gotham City, joining a special GCPD task force and Batman's inner circle to solve mysteries alongside Detective Montoya.
The game will consist of 11 episodic missions, each featuring unique detective challenges. Players will work together to thwart Batman's iconic villains, such as The Joker, Scarecrow, and Babyface. The voice cast includes Hamish Linklater as Batman and Michelle C. Bonilla as Detective Montoya, with more talent to be revealed before the launch.
Although not catering to hardcore Batman game enthusiasts, Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles aims to engage a more casual gaming audience. Meanwhile, Rocksteady, known for the Batman Arkham series, is reportedly developing a new single-player Batman game following the setback of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
