It featured a fictional parody company called Valhalla Ventures, which hired players for adventures. One of the unique aspects of the game was the use of generative AI for communication between players and NPCs, serving as a crucial tool for combat and puzzle-solving. For instance, players could interact with the Norse god Thor by speaking special attack names aloud or typing them. The game also allowed players to recruit characters by speaking commands, reminiscent of a feature in the RPG Skyrim from over a decade ago.

The report highlighted that Amazon Games intended to integrate generative AI technology for innovative gameplay mechanics, but the project was ultimately scrapped. Project Trident aimed to offer a fresh gaming experience by leveraging AI-driven interactions and voice commands, providing a unique twist to the traditional RPG genre.
