Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Revealed for Summer 2026 Release

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has officially been revealed by developers Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company, marking a return to a galaxy infested with perfect organisms.

A direct sequel to the 2021 game, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is set for a Summer 2026 release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game retains the core third-person PvE shooter gameplay but expands the fireteam to four players, introduces full cross-play support, new Xenomorph types, and improvements to player classes.

Players can customize a Specialist class for a versatile Marine and enjoy a dedicated Horde mode at launch. The first game received positive reviews for its action-packed gameplay, well-designed multiplayer, and the Challenge Card system that kept the experience fresh. Post-launch DLC added new story elements and features to enhance the intensity of the gameplay.
