Alan Ritchson Interested in Call of Duty Movie Role

Alan Ritchson, known for his role as Aquaman on Smallville and Jack Reacher on Reacher, has expressed his love for Call of Duty and his willingness to be part of the upcoming Call of Duty movie.

During an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Ritchson shared his views on video game adaptations, highlighting the challenges they face in achieving success. He mentioned that projects like Minecraft, tailored for kids or with a fun and self-aware approach, tend to fare better. Ritchson, known for his role in Reacher, expressed his admiration for Call of Duty and his desire to be involved if the storyline aligns.

While the Call of Duty movie's casting remains unconfirmed, it is known that Peter Berg will direct the film, with Taylor Sheridan handling the script. The movie, set in the Modern Warfare universe, is being produced by Paramount. On the gaming front, fans can anticipate the release of Modern Warfare 4 in October, with a free multiplayer beta scheduled for August.
