1047 Games Reveals Titanfall-Style Game Empulse on Steam

Splitgate developer 1047 Games has officially announced Empulse, a Titanfall-style game, with a promise of an early-access release this year.

Empulse is a 6v6 title set in the city of Freehold, where players can pilot mechs and engage in battles using various tools like P.A.I.N.T. bombs, Holojumps, and grappling hooks for quick navigation. Described as a 'movement shooter,' the game features two playable mechs on the map, each with unique armaments and abilities. Players can gain an advantage by securing a mech or work together to take one down.

Interested players can sign up for early access on Empulse's official site, although the release date is tentatively set for 2026. Despite challenges faced by 1047 Games in 2025, including layoffs and setbacks with Splitgate 2, the studio remains optimistic about its projects and the community's involvement in shaping the games.
